As you may all know, last night, the Memphis Police Department released the video which shows as five Black police officers outright murdered in cold blood Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, the father of a 4-year-old. Tyre Nichols, died on January 10th, 2023, three days after five Memphis Police Department officers brutally beat him. Their names, Tedarius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills, Jr., and Justin Smith. Allegedly, on January 3rd, Nichols was stopped on a traffic violation for reckless driving, however, the video released shows no physical evidence of the violation, contradicting allegations made by the officers to that effect.
Following the traffic stop, an initial altercation ensued during which officers simply strong-armed Nichols while they tasered him and bombarded him with pepper spray, causing Nichols to make a run-on foot to shield himself from the officer’s abusive attack. Even if Nichols was resisting arrest, still, it was evident from the video, the officers were using excessive force – not to mention the lopsided strength of five strong officers against a slim 148 lb. man.
After trying to flee on foot, within a short distance from Nichols home, a second altercation developed, this time, Nichols was punched, kicked in the face, and hit on the back with a baton. All along the beating, Nichols is helplessly screaming out calling for his mother. After the beating, he was hospitalized in critical condition and ultimately died, three days after the incident.
[The] greatest irony to this story is the fact that, unlike the George Floyd incident, back in May 2020, this time around the police brutality just happened to be Black on Black, as opposed to White police officer Dereck Chauvin, kneeling on Floyd causing his death. Regretfully, maybe the Nichols tragedy goes to prove the fact that police brutality is not a race issue, but merely an issue which has to do with some spoiled apples in the law-enforcement community. Bad apples which abound everywhere in life in general.
Unfortunately, no matter what profession, what work, there will always be bad actors amongst us, who like Derick Chauvin in the Floyd murder as well as these five animals in the Nichols case, will give others, the good guys, a bad rap. If you think about it, at the end of the day, this is a no-win situation, for anyone. Primarily is a no-win for the victim, Nichols, and his family, and is a no-win for police departments all over the nation. At a time when crime is at all-time highs; at a time when defunding police is a popular movement for the Far-Left and Progressives, the Nichols incident only serves to add fuel to the fire of radical activists programmed to undermine the law-enforcement community – albeit which has resulted in the unwavering spike in crime we now see all over the nation.
One thing I must say, is I give credit to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, for their swift handling of the officers, who were immediately fired from their posts, followed by Grand Jury Indictments, which included charges of Second-Degree Murder. I, personally, after watching the gruesome video, am not so sure they should have charged them with First-Degree Murder.
Anyways, I think you will agree with me, this is a senseless incident, regardless. That said, I would not be surprised at all if, sometime between now and the trial of these five animals, the radical Left, Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA, and all the George Soros’ soldiers, find a way to accuse Whites for what happened – far out as this may sound to you, this, only a reasonable expectation, a realistic presumption in light of the our new CRT [Critical Race Theory] culture now prevalent in our Marxist United States. God save us and God save the United States of America.
