At 10:56 p.m., on July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong took the first step onto the moon while millions of us heard him recite his now famed one liner cliché “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” – used in today’s lexicon as a means of accomplishment or a milestone. You have also heard, I am sure, that baseball cliché which says, “you are batting 1000”, which implies you are doing really well.
I think both clichés, either Armstrong’s and/or baseball’s perfect record cliché, either one is not only fitting but outright explicitly opportune as applied to describe what has transpired in the last couple of days with the decisions made by the Supreme Court of the United States of America – yes, a light at the end of the tunnel, Hallelujah!
On Thursday, the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action program at the Universities of Harvard and North Carolina in an unprecedented victory for conservatives, ending, finally the systematic consideration of race in the colleges’ admissions process, which unfairly segregated said admissions by race, rather than by qualifications, albeit favoring Black people over Asian Americans.
On Friday, the Supreme Court also handed our bozo President Joe Biden a painful defeat by blocking his plan to cancel $430 billion dollars in student loan debt. Biden’s student debt forgiveness was all but a means of buying a sizable voting block of college-age young men and women, all the while, as the idiot thought he could single-handedly circumvent Congress by illegally erasing the debt of 26 million borrowers at the expense of the rest of the taxpayers.
On Friday too, the Supreme Court upheld the First Amendment rights and ruled in favor of a Christian web designer who had refused to create websites for “same sex” weddings. All three decisions in the wake of last year’s landmark decision upending of the Roe v. Wade case which made abortions legal in 1973. All of these four Court’s decisions fell along ideological lines on a 6 to 3 split, with dissenting opinions from the Court’s liberal Justices, Sonia Sotomayor, Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Elena Kagan.
By the way, if nothing else, I think every Republican conservative in this nation, should be grateful to ex-President Donald Trump as I, personally, think [Trump’s] greatest legacy to all of us was his appointments of conservative Justices Coney Barrett, Bret Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
When, I ask, was the last time since Joe Biden became President that you had heard of any government issues going in favor of Republicans /conservatives? In fact, come to think of it, we may all now conclude that the Supreme Court, may be the one and only last institution of this nation that still pays homage to our old democratic ways in this United States – unbelievable as that may sound. As such, today is a day for celebration, bring out your best Champagne and let us all toast to the Court’s ruling – all in favor of our democratic ideals, and/or all against the new Marxist Left.
In closing, I just cannot pretend to overlook the fact that the very first two people that came out publicly to rip the Court’s decisions were, none other than this nation’s foremost Communists, Barack, and Michelle Obama.
Mind you, I have said it before, and I will say it again, the Obamas both Barack Obama and his wife, are, two of the worse ever reason this country has openly turned to Left as we have. To be sure Barack Obama is a career Communist, and so is his puppet Joe Biden, which is how he made it to VP to begin with.
In fact, I think that Barack Obama is really the one that is governing this nation from behind-the-scenes. Meantime, I will end this narrative as I started it, by saying, while there is still a lot of roadways to recover our lost nation, however, for now, at least, join me in saying, the last couple of days have been a small step for a Court, and a giant leap for Republicans! God save the United States of America.
