Today’s narrative is merely a follow-up to my last article regarding Donald Trump’s electability in the 2024 Presidential elections. In my last article, if you noticed, I cared to discuss Trump’s electability amongst Republican voters. From the responses I received by many of you who I highly respect and admire, I could not help noticing a consistent trend which went to tell me that, many of you, disliked the man but liked the President.
Arguably, I think it is fair to conclude that, for the most part, those that do not like Trump, do not like his personality. Admittedly, Trump is bombastic and bold; he is known for his outspokenness, he can be crude and condescending. He has been accused of being a “womanizer” and maybe even hated just because he happens to be white and successful. Most negative comments are along the line of things like being a “loudmouth,” a “narcissist,” and all sorts of negative traits of his temperament and character – one which just rubs people the wrong way.
What was quite interesting to me was that, for a more expanded universe, people either love this man or hate him, no in-between. Meantime, I found it quite revealing that many of you in my limited audience are capable of hating the man and loving the President, which I found quite ironic. Again, all but a couple of the comments I received in my last narrative dealt with “personality” issues.
From my perspective, frankly and with all due respects, I do not really care if the man looks orange, I do not care about his hair, about his being arrogant, outspoken, condescending, patronizing, big-headed, or opinionated. Ironically, some of these traits, are specifically, why we may need him as President. Let me expand on this. Primarily, again, let me remind everyone that Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a businessperson – thank God, I may add.
Notably, if you really think about it, most, if not all politicians are the precise opposite of what you may dislike about Donald Trump. Your quintessential politicians, regardless of Partisan alliance, are deceivingly diplomatic, measured.
The very term “political” or “politician” is associated as someone who uses “diplomacy” to settle conflicting or opposing views – someone skilled in his or her ability to compromise. My question to you is: What would you rather have for President, the historical Swamp Animals trained to be diplomatic and “political” about everything, or would you rather have someone who discards diplomacy and just tells it like he sees it?
But asides from personality traits, I can understand some Republican voters being hesitant of Donald Trump in 2016, as he was a virtual unknown in the political arena, but I cannot understand Republicans being uncertain about him in 2024 if only because Donald Trump, unlike all the Presidential candidates, has more than proven himself already in issues that really count.
Other than his hair, his orangeness, or his arrogance, just please take a quick close look at some of what Donald Trump accomplished during his tenure as President:
✓ Unprecedented economic boom, built the world’s most prosperous economy.
✓ Passed $3.2 trillion in his historic tax relief for the Middle Class.
✓ Created more than 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs.
✓ Secured historic trade agreements to protect American workers.
✓ Overseas he took unprecedented actions to prevent Communist China from taking advantage of trade practices over the United States.
✓ Historic support for American farmers.
✓ Restored American energy independence for the first time in 70 years.
✓ Secured our Southern Border to protect and preserve our sovereignty
✓ Restored our U.S. leadership abroad, advancing peace through strength.
✓ Prevented a Russian invasion in Ukraine by his way of dealing with Vladimir Putin.
✓ Prevented North Korea from continuing to launch ballistic missiles.
✓ Did a colossal rebuilding of the military and created the United States Space Force.
✓ Defeated 100% of ISIS territorial caliphates in Iraq and Syria.
✓ Reformed the Dept. of Veteran Affairs (VA) to improve the care of U.S. veterans all across the land.
✓ Signed into law landmark criminal justice reform to make communities safer.
✓ Steadfastly supported the sanctity of human life and worked tirelessly to prevent government funding of abortion.
✓ Stood up for religious liberty in the United States and around the world.
Actually, I could go on and on, probably need a book to complete all of them. Not listed above, however, Trump’s most significant contribution, for those of us who lived under a Communist ideology is the way this man single-handedly put a temporary hold to the indisputable Marxist conspiracy initiated by Barack Obama, which otherwise was pre-planned to have been continued by Hillary Clinton, and eventually continued and perpetuated with Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.
Tell you what friends, some, or all of the now presidential candidates, including our own Governor Ron De Santis, may or may not have what it takes to be the next Republican President – who knows? For me though, I will give my vote, my endorsement, my full support to Donald J. Trump – [The] one and only man that, as far as I am concerned, has what it takes to take this country back and restore greatness in America as claimed in his campaign slogan of “Making America Great Again.”
My decision for this support is as simple as what I have seen of this man do during his presidency, notwithstanding the color of his skin, or any of those personality traits, which, ironically, are the same that made possible his great presidency from 2016 to 2020. The very same personality traits that are lacking in all the present presidential candidates and the very same personality traits that have lacked in all those “politicians” that have systematically destroyed our nation. May God save us and may God save the United States of America.
